The Distribution Network Codes are the sets of rules which govern the relation between the Distribution Network Operators and the distribution systems’ users “Shippers” to guarantee the efficient operation of the network and its ancillary facilities as well as ensuring efficient and non-discriminatory access to the distribution system. It describes the roles and responsibilities of the players involved (the DNOs and the shippers), how and when they shall exchange information.
The Distribution Network Code shall be prepared by the DNO and approved by GasReg.
